Firstly open your yahoo messenger main window and double click on the name of the person whom you want to check.The chat window will open obviously.

After loading the Doodle imvironment there can be two possibilities

1.)If the user is offline Doodle are will show this "waiting for your friend to load Doodle" continuously .

2.)If the user is online (but in invisible mode), after few seconds (it can take up to one minute, depending on your connection speed), you should get a blank page like in the picture below.So you know that the user is online

Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy
then Computer Configuration
then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well.

3) If you check properly, you will notice that the shortcut you just created will sport blank icon. To change the icon, right-click the shortcut and choose 'Properties'.
4) Now in the 'Shortcut' tab, click the 'Change Icon' button and in the 'Look fo icons in this file' box, type '%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll'.
Now click 'OK' to see a number of icons that you can choose from for your new shortcut. Choose one that you like and your desktop locking shortcyt is ready.

1)Open the Registry Editor by clicking on "Start|Run",type "regedit" and click on "OK".
2)Navigate to the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell" key.
3)Select the incorrect command and delete it.Now you just have to restore the desired standard action.

4)On the right hand side of the Registry Editor window double click the value name "Default".
5)Replace the name of the undesired cotext command with "Open". This way, you transfer further control to the file type "folder".

7)Select the entry "NONE FOLDER"in the "File Types" tab.Click on "Advanced".
8)Only one action other than "Open" can be defined in the dialog box which should be set "As Default".

Did you know you can command Windows 2000 and Windows XP to work more efficiently with your processor? If you have something other than an Intel CPU this tweak is sure to help.

First open up the Registry Editor by clicking 'Start|Run'. enter regdit and click OK.
Then proceed to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management. In there look for an entry called 'SecondLevelDataCache'. Its value should represent the amount of cache your CPU has. If it's an Athlon, enter 256; for Durons, enter 64 for it has 64 KB L2 cache. This trick may also work with Intel CPUs.

Trick for mozilla -- "load faster"

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

If you're using a brodband connection you'll load pages 2-25 times faster now.

Bypassing The Download Limit Of Rapidshare

Its very easy to fool Rapid Share server if your IP address is assigned by your ISP....Just follow these simple steps

clean up IE or netscape cookie( In this case the one that belong to rapidshare website)

On Command prompt (Start>>> RUN >>> type "CMD")

type -----> ipconfig /flushdns <---Enter

type -----> ipconfig /release <---Enter

type -----> ipconfig /renew <---Enter

type -----> exit <--------Enter

Or save these commands in a bat file and run it everytime you need to fool Rapidshare server....Remember to clean up rapidshare cookie in your temp Internet files folder.

Now you should be ready to download as many files as you want from their server....Doesn't work if you have a static ip adress, if you do i'd suggest you use an "anonymous proxy" instead...Rapidshare uses your IP addy to determine how much that IP has downloaded and sets a limit for that IP [30megs an hour i think], so you have to fool rapidshare to believe your IP is different to get around this limit...change your IP by using a proxy server to connect to rapidshare.
